In 1946 Dixon Automatic Tool started business with one concept in mind Quality. The International Traffice in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are administerd by the State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). These regulations implement the provisons of the Arms Export Act , which regulates the export and import of U.S military and defense related equimpment, services and information.

Dixon Automatic Tool, is registered with the US State Department ITAR program for security controlled item manufacturing and export.
