Dixon's customized inline assembly systems are fully automatic, and perform screw/nut driving, part placement, pressing, and staking functions to meet a wide range of assembly applications. Each placement station has an inspection feature to assure quality before indexing to additional work stations. Assemble Perfect® technology for quality assurance. Cycle rates vary due to part geometry, size, and other assembly requirements. Many optional features are available to meet assembly criteria. Please discuss your next assembly project with us. Inline Assembly System produces terminal assemblies.
The inline assembly system incorporates a Dixon Standard Model SD-111 Screwdriver driving wire clamp and screw components to a specified torque into the terminal. This assembly system is designed to feed two different types of terminals with the same equipment. In the event of any non-conforming sub-assembly a sensor control causes it to be diverted down a separate eject chute. Machine components also includes vibratory feed systems, locating fixture, and programmable logic controls.

| Clips and Grommets |

Machine components include a Dixon Standard AP-111 Part Placer, two vibratory feed systems, and heavy duty machine base. The grommets are conveyed in a vibratory feed track to a Model AP-111 Part Placer which then advances and places the clip into the pre-positioned grommet. In the event of a non-conforming sub-assembly a sensor control causes it to be diverted down a separate eject chute. This assembly system is designed to feed and position two versions of grommets. Additional machine components include a supply hopper, and programmable logic control. Assemble Perfect® technology for quality assurance.
